I. 背景知识

在日常生活中，你有时候会发现他人处于困难或危险之中，出于起码的道德标准，你应该主动帮助他人，向他提供帮助，使他摆脱困境。在英语中，提供帮助的表达法有：Can I help you?; What can I do for you?; Let me … for you; Would you like some …? Here, take this / my…等。在西方国家，人们一般不会轻易接受别人的帮助的，除非自己确实需要别人的帮助。若愿意接受别人的帮助，西方人常会说：Thanks. That would be nice.; Yes, please.; thank you for your help.等；若不需要别人的帮助，他们会委婉地拒绝你的帮助，说：No, thanks / thank you.; That’s very kind of you, but…等。.

1. A: Can I help you?  我能帮你忙吗?

B: Yes, please. 好，请吧。

2. A: What can I do for you? 我能帮你什么忙吗?

B: Would you please help me find my daughter? 请你帮我找到我的女儿，好吗?
